Precautions for using rigid tube endoscope

1. When using other instruments, especially pliers and scissors with strong occlusal force, care should be taken not to extend the front end of the mirror tube into the occlusal area of the instrument, so as not to accidentally damage the mirror tube.
2. Some surgical speculums are used inside the sheath. When changing speculums from other angles or inserting and pulling out instruments, care should be taken not to use excessive force. Especially in the process of inserting and pulling out the speculum, if you encounter resistance and cannot pull it out, you should carefully find out the reason, and if necessary, pull it out together with the sheath tube, and do not use brute force.
3. When the speculum is combined with photoelectric techniques such as laser vaporization, high-frequency electric cutting, microwave, etc., attention should be paid to the distance between the front end of the speculum and the treatment point to ensure that the front end of the speculum will not be shocked or burned.
4. When combined with a planer to remove diseased tissue, it has been widely used in clinical operations such as otolaryngology and orthopedics. It is necessary to control the rotating part of the cutter head to always be within the observation range of the speculum. When the operation range is large, The rotation of the cutter head should be stopped first, then the sight glass should be moved, and then the cutter head should be moved under the supervision of the sight mirror, and then turned on for planing after reaching a suitable position.
5. When the image of the endoscope is blurred and the vision is not clear, etc., please contact the manufacturer or maintenance organization in time, and do not continue to use it blindly to cause surgical accidents.
