When purchasing an endoscope, you need to refer to the distance at which the object is observed to select an endoscope with corresponding parameters.

Focusing mode

The focusing modes include fixed focus and automatic zoom. Fixed focus refers to fixing a focal length parameter value, which is suitable for the detection of fixed scenes. Zoom is the camera automatically adjusting the focal length according to the scene environment, and the focal length range is large. Fixed focus can set the best clear focal length according to the actual use scene, so as to achieve better imaging effect. The wide range of zoom is suitable for scenes of different distances, but due to the certain focusing time when the camera automatically zooms the scene, the image cannot be obtained in time, and the clarity of the details is not as good as fixed focus.

Insertion tube characteristics

It is also necessary to pay attention to parameters such as the diameter, length, flexibility and bending radius of the insertion tube. The smaller the diameter, the more it can adapt to narrow spaces, but it may limit the integration of some functional components; the length must meet the detection depth requirements; the insertion tube with good flexibility and small bending radius can be conveniently operated in complex curved channels.

Type of wire

Common wires for endoscopes include soft wires, hard wires, and hard tubes. The use requirements of different materials are different. Soft wires can better extend into various internal spaces due to their softness. Hard wires can form a fixed angle due to the hardness of the wire material, which is suitable for use in pipes that need to be viewed upward. Hard pipes are mostly made of stainless steel, which has better corrosion resistance, and hard pipes are not easy to shake, so clear images can be obtained better.

Light source brightness and type

Sufficient light source brightness is the key to ensuring clear imaging. Depending on the detection environment, different brightness levels and light source types may need to be selected.

Measurement function: As mentioned above, if accurate measurements are required during the detection process, an endoscope with measurement function and measurement accuracy that meets the requirements should be selected.

 

Image storage and transmission: Consider whether the detection images and data need to be stored for subsequent analysis and report generation. Some endoscopes support direct connection to computers or other storage devices for data transmission and storage, and some also have wireless transmission functions to facilitate remote monitoring and data sharing.
