Basic structure of rigid tube endoscope

If you want to use the rigid tube endoscope correctly, you should understand its structure. At present, although the products of various rigid tube endoscope manufacturers in the world have different optical paths and appearances, their basic structures are the same: they are composed of working mirror tube parts, structural parts, eye shield parts, and optical cable interface parts. The main part of the structure, the eye mask part, and the optical cable interface part are generally not easily damaged except for severe bumps. The most easily damaged part is the working mirror tube part. Take the φ4mm rigid tube endoscope as an example: the working mirror tube is mainly composed of four parts: outer mirror tube, inner mirror tube, optical lens, and optical fiber. The optical lens is placed in the inner mirror tube to form an optical system, and the optical fiber is placed between the inner and outer mirror tubes for illumination. The outer mirror tube is a 0.1mm thick φ4mm stainless steel tube, which will be deformed when bumped or squeezed. Most of the optical lenses are glass columns with a diameter of 2.8mm and a length of about 25mm. They will crack, collapse or shift the optical axis when subjected to slight bumps and extrusions. Most of our common endoscopes have blurred vision and black edges. reason. The optical fiber is made of very fine optical glass, and a φ4mm sight glass needs to be equipped with more than 1,500 pieces. The external force in the outer mirror tube will cause broken wires and affect the illuminance. Most of the connections between the mechanisms of the rigid endoscope are bonded with epoxy resin, and the quality of the glue and the packaging technology also affect the service life of the endoscope. Although the rigid tube endoscope is delicate, as long as it can be used and maintained correctly, it will not be damaged.
